Kailiev Syrym(4, male), a boy from Chilek, Kazakhstan, was selected as a recipient of the Global Medical Sharing Project 2017, managed jointly by Gyeonggi Province and Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital, Bucheon, to invite foreign patients in need of help. He lost his father and was raised by his grandmother until he was two years old. He was sent to an orphanage when his grandmother suffered from economic difficulties.
