Az Jargal (6/Mongolian/Picture) was born with cerebral palsy and couldn’t even properly walk until now. However, Az Jargal can now walk freely with a help of Gyeonggi-do and MyongJi Hospital. On the 9th, Az Jargal had a surgery performed by a medical team at MyongJi Hospital for her knee joint flexion and toe walking which had prevented her from walking normally. She was born with cerebral palsy and couldn’t even stand up properly but her family could not afford any medical treatment due to their financial condition. MyongJi Hospital’s overseas office in Mongolia passed the story of Az Jargal to Korea and Gyeonggi-do decided to support flight tickets and the cost of staying for Az Jargal and her guardian through medical sharing project for foreign patients. MyongJi Hospital also provided the surgery and treatment as pro bono.
